Hi there

I'm willing to buy the witcher 2, but I don't now which version.

My PC
PC (HP Pavilion Elite HPE Series HPE-440ch)
Windows 7 Home Premium
Prozessor: i7 870 @ 2.93 GHz (8 CPUs)
RAM: 8192 Mb RAM
GeForce GTX 260 1.8Gb Version (4067 MB)
2TB hard drive

Or for the XBox 360?

Furthermore are the rumors with the performance enhancements in the gog version true? And how big are the enhancements? does it justifie to buy the pc version rather than the xbox 360?

Thank you in advance!

greetings

That PC is good enough to play the game on high to ultra settings. You won't get eye candy that's as good from the Xbox.

Any claims about performance enhancements are unsubstantiated, just somebody who doesn't actually know anything trying to say something to get himself noticed. The change log for the PC has been published, and there is nothing about general or point performance improvements.

Can't mod the xbox version, either. Get the PC version.
The PC version is best since your rig can handle it. Not only will you not miss out on any content, you will be able to take full advantage of the game's incredible graphics. Consoles are nice, but this game is a PC-first creation, and there's controller support if you really can't stand a mouse and keyboard setup.
The PC version is also cheaper. (and I'm saying this as someone who is planning to get it for the xbox 360 cause my computer definitely CANNOT play it) which is another plus. And i"m supposing by getting witcher 2 here the money would most directly go to the actual developing team since this site is ran by a sister company or something that makes the witcher games.
