The patching to 2.0 fails on my installation.

After launching the autopatcher it sais "Your Game is Version 1.2 the patcher will now download the neccessary patch to version 2.0". After that it downloads a patch "1.3.5 to 2.0".
When its finished downloading i get a message saying "Error: CreateProcess failed".

In the Witcher2\Downloads folder i got two exe files:

patcher.exe and Patcher_1.2.exe

When i launch Patcher_1.2.exe it does some patching and then sais "your game has been patched". When i launch the patcher.exe it sais "installed game version is invalid or wrong version".

I use Win7 64 bit. I have UAC disabled. I also tried the whole process with the autopatcher running in compatiblity mode.

I had that problem yesterday. I was running 1.2, and it kept downloading the patch and telling me that my game version was invalid.

I had to manually download the 1.3 and 1.3.5 patches and install those, then it managed to install the 2.0 patch. Given that the auto-patcher told me that I had 1.2 installed I'd have thought it would be smart enough to install the 1.3 and 1.3.5 patches and install those before trying to patch from 1.3.5 to 2.0. Obviously not.

where did you get the 1.3 and 1.3.5 patch downloads from?

Same boat here. The patcher_1.3.5-2.0.exe doesn't seem to do what it was supposed to do. Where are the individuals at?
