Nah, CDPR released the Enhanced Ed, of Witcher 1 for free. They produce great support, granted it may take them a little, but you have nothing to worry about. They will get to it.

You are forgetting they are working hard and fullforce on the XBox version. There's news that they are working for PS3 versions too. I have no idea what's the sales so far for PC version but i doubt it's not pass 1M. It's no brainer to go console when a mediocre title can easily sell 2-3M copies.

Why aren't they releasing a date? Simple when they did it for the first patch, the backlash from why it wasn't released when they said was pretty bad.
anyway the patch 1.3 thread has plenty of people who, like the OP are disappointed if not disgruntled, which usually happens when hype doesn't live up to reality.
I doubt they will change their policy prior to 1.3's release but as I suggested in the other thread, I hope they break up patches, to be smaller and more frequent. When making broad changes to multiple aspects of a program, more glitches are created holding up the fix release. My personal fear, is that some personnel that would have been handling these fixes have been shifted to working on the port. Like the OP I'm disappointed, I know the port decision was made to coincide with E3, but honestly, I think they would have been better served holding off until the PC version was stable. The adult in me understands their decision, but the paranoia keeps whispering "Don't you feel like their using you to beta test the console version" LOL.
I like the stances the company has taken with regard to DRM and DLC, and I want them to be successful, but upper management should look into this release as a debacle, apologize to the customers, and lay out a post release quality control process. As great as the game is, this release may have cost potential future sales by negativity or frustration from people who paid for a game that was unplayable. It's a greater tragedy when a great game is rushed to a bad release, than to never have been published it at all.

Not sure about then sales, but I am sure that they are good enough. TW1 sold 1.25 million copies on PC alone.
But I agree, the sum of all the recent events (the forums being down for so long, GOP leaving, the silence on 1.3, the new console-centric stance, etc.) is very troubling. I know that it sounds meoldramatic, but at this point I feel the CDPR has changed irrecovably for the worse. I hope that I am wrong.

Or just maybe they are having troubles getting the hardware and various resolutions to work. After all I'm sure they had to allocate resources to the console conversion and that means less people (and probably not their best people) are working on the patch.

TW2 is the top seller on Steam again this week. The price tag helps too, TW2 is 33$ on Steam for another 6 hours from now.But I agree, the sum of all the recent events (the forums being down for so long, GOP leaving, the silence on 1.3, the new console-centric stance, etc.) is very troubling.
