For some reason I had today (20th of September) as the release date for the 2.0 patch but no sign.

Anyone know when this is out... I am holding out on going back to the game until this is out.

They said September 29 when they announced the update, and that hasn't changed. There's a conference on Thursday; we might find out more then - including any possible delays. :(

Also, this topic was posted a day ago, while yours is just 10h old. Unless the search engine incorporates elements of the TARDIS, the OP couldn't have found it yesterday.

WIth no intention of jumping down your throat Ebon-Hawk, you're not being useful by delivering a snide post with bitter remarks. If everyone left out such crap, there would be a much warmer and more friendly forum and community. Beats having some false sense of fulfilment by pointing out how silly or stupid others are.

The problem is not WHAT you do. But HOW you do it. If you create drama in your posts people will see it as that and disregard whatever value you're giving. It's an effect of the subconscious and it is very true. If you can't see that you're creating drama by complaining then you probably are.

Here you should differentiate between drama and being rude, I intended to be somewhat rude which does not constitute at creating drama... two different things.

Nothing official, but knowing CDPR, I doubt there will be any incompatibilities. Besides, apart from the various new game modes, there doesn't seem to be anything to warrant such an effect -- bug fixes and various engine tweaks shouldn't require a fresh save game to work.
