Based on the Google Translate, that polish review seems a bit spoilery, but from what I can get from it, there is no ending battle/resolution, it is just some of geralts choices thrown around.

EDIT: Game is 25-30 hours long for reviewer...

German PC Games gave 88%, German GameStar 87%. Both cirticize the weak final of the game.

They both rated DA II higher though .

Guess DA II ending was sufficient.

piderman: If I read the "translation" correctly, the game ends very suddenly and does not have an 'epilogue' like Fallout: New Vegas or Dragon Age have. Other reviews have alluded to this as well.
IMHO no need to bring up those games. The ending to live up to is the epilogue of the first game.

DA2 wasn't a very good game. A good game at best. Germans were bought off, like most review sites.

Easy, 88-87 is very very good score dude.

Yes, it is.

I was saying comparing DA2 to TW2 isn't a good idea, as EA probably made sizable "donations" to review sites, as I personally know a lot of gamers and nobody was as enthused about DA2 as many of these review sites.

CPR is way too small to afford bribes, so I firmly believe TW2's review scores will be a lot more representative of the game's quality than DA2 for the aforementioned reasons.

you can add me to that list
2011 = Year of the RPG.

So many big names out already or are on their way:
The Witcher 2, Two Worlds 2, Dragon Age 2, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Dungeon Siege 3, Torchlight 2, Two Worlds 2: Pirates expansion planned for September, more Fallout: New Vegas DLC coming...

AND anything else I missed! I can't think of the others, but it's GREAT to be a RPG gamer in 2011!
I'm excited about Deus Ex 3 and Skyrim.
New review. Don't think it's been posted yet.

Here is a link to the English video review which may contain spoilers. I have not watched it so can't say.

Ever-wonderful UK PC hardware-centric gamesite BitTech got a new review up here:

http://www.bit-tech.net/gaming/pc/2011/05/17/the-witcher-2-review/1

"It’s true that you could likely boot up The Witcher 2 with no idea of what it was, hacking and slashing your way through without a care, but doing so would be a travesty. The Witcher 2 is one of the most exciting and involving RPGs we’ve seen in a long, long time. It forms a logical competitor to more action-orientated titles, such as Mass Effect, and succeeds where previous pretenders, such as Dragon Age 2, have failed. Those who can bear the QTEs and practice finding hotspots, who take the time to immerse themselves in the world and understand the characters will find an experience that’ll be tough to beat - not just for future RPGs, but all future titles. "

Premium Grade, 95%

Loving it.

My own review: Looting needs serious work.

At the moment its just a pain in the crack to sheeth weapon, run over the loot a few times before the game targets it, then loot it.

There should be a dedicated "loot" key like C or X, and you shouldnt really have to wait before looting after combat. This was annoying in TW1 also.
PC Format magazine (UK): 92%

Cons: Bugs
