This thred is about reviews. It's ok to talk about reviews. I said my staff as i believe. that if witcher 2 will get mediacore reviews for bugs it doesn't automaticaly mean that it will not be one of the best games ever.

That is what happened to Witcher 1 mediacore reviews around web because of bugs and some gripes. But still that game after few tears it is still considered by many as one of the best RPG games ever. Some say that this is BG level.

Same was witch PST. combat is shit a lot of bugs but still that game is god of all PC rpgs IMO

As of derailing thred by you, see your post. :) Health care systems, crime stats etc.Game aspect was lost after few first sentences :)

JEUXVIDEO (Fr magazine) - 19/20

WOW !! This is a incredible score . JEUXVIDEO is the most important french site . And very severe in the scores . They dont have any hipe to the big blockbusters of the industry .

The reviewer in a French magazine. A scan of the review is a few posts up. My half-assed French may be wrong.
I'll translate teh pluses and minus.

Plus:

- a realization that slaps... I think they've realized the books well? (could be wrong, it's slang or an idiom)
- the atmosphere is mature and immersive
- the quests are intelligent
- the combat system and attention to detail
- the AMAAAAAAZING dialogue

Minus:

- the difficulty wanes after chapter 2

I don't claim to be a great translator of french, but I reckon it goes:

Pros

Well realised world
Mature and immersive atmosphere
Intelligent quests
Combat system with little flaws? This is the one I'm not sure about
Amazing dialogue

Cons
Difficulty gets easier after chapter 2
