Nope it's confirmed the same...possibly with less voice editing/ more directing though, not sure.
Probably the voice actor became much better with English :)
Errr... Doug Cockle is from California, not from Poland...

(He's a native speaker and a professional voice actor)

In early previews, if I recall correctly, they were using a temp VA. Not now though. They got him and his memorable voice back.

He's like Batman.
The first one was really monotonous and flat. Hope in this version, he is more livelier and cheery.

Aye they can't get rid of Doug ...Other than the witcher TV series, he's pretty much the voice I associate Geralt with !

It is the same voice but he sounds much more tame than in the first game, at least at the start of the game.

Agreed - he seems to have softened his growl a little, makes his voice sound a lot better so far.

Well, personally, I really liked his voice. I think it being calm, calculated, almost icy fits well with Geralt, a professionnal monster-slayer struck with amnesia and despised by many. I haven't played TW2 yet, but a "livelier" voice should be possible, with his memory slowly coming back.

In any case, it towers far over the French voice. I'm glad my first playthrough was in English, the French Geralt sounds like a shy rookie on a quest to pick up daisies.

Sounds like the same actor BUT now he's doing a Clint Eastwood impersonation..that spoiled it for me with Two Worlds 2.(not same voice but soft back of the throat raspiness)

I'll get use to it.. looks great, nice nuiances it'll be good. Reminds me of the great job the voice characters did with Dragon Age Origins.
