Remove input lag in combat
Some ideas:

a) make crafting cheaper or for free
b) let you craft without needing to be in town
c) best of 3 for dice game
d) always set the value for waging at the max (I think everyone always bets the max amount anyway, and it's wasted time)
e) indoor maps (some buildings are pretty big and have no maps)
f) remove the time limit for dialog choices, giving you more time to read the different options
g) "tag" books to show you you've read them, like in the first Witcher

h) reduce the weight of crafting items - because there's no storage (unlike the first game), you have to drag stuff everywhere and because iron ore and such weighs too much, it's just not doable to pick everything up yet, I hate not being able to pick up everything.
I would love to see a first person view for the camera when you are out of combat. For something more advanced, I would like to see scrollable camera that allows you to go into first person view. I can't remember who did it, but someone made a mod like that for the first Witcher.
1) I'd love to see a mod that lowers vigor requirements from block. so instead of only being able to block twice i'll be able to block 3 times or maybe 4. not more. the best thing is having the type of weapon determine how many times u can block with your current vigor. maybe heavier weapons can block less while lighter weapons block more? whatever makes sense :)
it's jsut weird u need vigor to block but being exausted doesnt prevent you from running and rolling like a circus monkey.

2) an option to block mid-sway of a sword so if u see someone attacking DURING an attack than u can cancel it into a block. but this is probably much harder to mod. or even impossible.

2) is it just me or there is no way of telling how many bombs\traps\stuff-in-yer-pockets u got left?
cuz it's missing. i am seeing the icon of an item in the lower left but i dont know how many of it i have left.
needs to be fixed, unless im missing something.

3) also when u are about to craft an object (alchemy) u should be able to tell how many of each ingredient u got left. maybe u'd want to save them for later.

Very true - once again, the UI lets us down. I still think this is the result of them trying to keep the game console-friendly by avoiding adding small fonts.

rivo101: Post ideas for mods in here:)

Ill start

I would like to have a mod where the timer on the dead bodies is increased so they hang around for longer:)
I second that ...add some realism at least replace dead bodies with a skeleton like the ones lying around in caves instead of a brown bag ((((

BTW anyone figured out how to play around with the timer for how long the mesh stays active before being cleaned off?

Haven't seen any global values like that at all. So no idea how to mod that
From ShadowStalk3r @ gamefaqs

Go into your game main folder-->CookedPC-->globals-->game.xml
Right click and edit
Then look for the line "body_disappear_time="
Change the number after the equal sign to how long you want them to stay on screen.

Actually theres no game.xml in the extracted archives nor is that file in the original games folders...

And theres no xml files IN CookedPC-->globals
Can some one please make a mod to meditate anytime, anywhere regardless of the situation as I came across a bug that wont allow me to meditate no matter what but I need to make a potion to go further in the game.... Heck it can be useful for other players to be able to use potions midbattle...

ais_bn: Don't know if it's possible, but I would like to have a mod to reset/overwrite previously installed runes, mutagens and armor enhancements. Also, a mod to reset abilities allocations, just like that book in DA2 would be very nice....

Since I don't have comprehensive stats of weapons, builds for Geralt etc (the likes of which you would find in a Prima game guide) chances are great to permanently screw your character stats by making uninformed bad choices early on...
You can reset your abilities at Act 3
remove auto-targeting and add back a cursor
Can you create mod to always display items/characters names? Or show them with Alt key - like in W1?
Is it possible to summon an item ? Or have it sold at any NPC? I missed the key ingredients to create best steel sword in act 3 thus unable to craft it. Want to have the item listed or be able to summon em T_T
