VoodooEconomist: It's always amusing to watch people suffer the consequences of hartying too hard and trying to get their$hit together (I've been on the recieving end of this sentiment as well)...

But I'd never think I'll see it on GoG forums :D
It's even more amusing since you don't get hammered and naked without knowing where the Blue Stripes are since it all started by talking with and then partying with them in the first place, making a lot of the comments in this thread pure gold. :p

bandidoquest: I also can't find the Blue Stripes on Flotsam, can anyone tell me where they are?
avatar
Jaquar: Had to look for ages for them myself: when you exit the inn to the marketplace, turn right and you will see a house with the entry door on top of a set of stairs. There's the whole posse and your glorious chance to make a fool of yourself for all eternity, or at least until you get that tattoo removed...
Found it. Thanks a lot!

tretoso: The mission was broken. I have to load an old save losing 20 min. of my priceless life.

Lesson learned, don't be cheap on your bribes or you can get stuck.
This mission is broken, and I don't think this explanation is clear enough. So, for anyone who is still stuck on this, here's a spoilerish explanation:
When you wake up by the harbor with a hangover, the fisherman will try to swindle some orens out of you to tell you what happened. Do *not* choose the intimidation option to get the information for free. If you do, Margot will be nowhere to be found (the quest arrow points to the street between the inn and the blue stripes, but she is not there.) and Ves will not have any dialogue options about last night. Your only option at this point is to reload your save, as from then on the fisherman has no useful dialogue either.

So, until this quest is patched (if ever) just pay the swindling slimeball the bribe he asks for. (I'm going to try and just say "bye" and go talk to Ves or Margot, see if that works. I'll post here if it does.)

That's false, the quest arrow points to a room in the basement (the brothel) side of the inn. Go downstairs, continue past the barkeeper and straight through the door and you're there.
This is sad. For both instances when Geralt loses his belongings the answer is, play the game. Use your head.

And to think there was a time when players played a game and knew how to problem solve instead of running to the web for quick answers everytime they encountered a slight obstacle.

I looked there, and just looked again now. She's literally not there, and the quest arrow points outside the building on my map...

Margot's room is there in the back, and she's there nearly always. There's pretty much just two occasions in the whole game where she's elsewhere (room on top of the inn).

I get that, and upon reloading my save, she is there. Choosing to pay him, she is there. Choosing to intimidate, she was not. I'll even reload an earlier save and intimidate again, just to see if it happens again. But she's quite literally not there.

I completed that quest by intimidating the guy on the beach, so if there's a bug, that doesn't affect it.

I'll reload my earlier save and try it with intimidate, maybe it was just a one time thing. Thanks!
strange intimidation should have from the beginning to 100%

I think the game needs and Enhanced Edition too.

I thought the CDP has learned from the witcher 1.
But there are some of the same stupid mistakes as in 1

same NPC models & voices
and many balancing and logical bugs or errors.

a bit disappointed with all -.- Learn, Learn & again Learn!

spk64: strangely intimidated you do not have 100% from the beginning.
Even so, that quest can be done very late in the chapter, like I did. I had already intimidated enouh to get it to level 3, same with axii and persuasion. Even managed to persuade Sile on my first try since I did it so late, not that it actually did anything.

Agreed. I did it twice also.
This "quest" is bugged. I failed the bribe with the fisherman, and failed the intimidate, so I never actually got a quest to get my stuff back. Margot says nothing, Ves says nothing. They need to add an option to allow you to try to bribe the fisherman again with a higher amount. Otherwise your stuff is straight up gone.
