Still can't remove more than 1/4 of his life... I've been at it all day on and off.

Drink a swallow potion and the other one to resist fire/poison etc , and the 10% damage one, stay near him block and hit him with 2 strong attacks , block again repeat , stay near if you get far from him he will cast lots of stuff on you.

And don't use the silver sword just incase lol :p

The easiest way to beat Letho:

- Make sure that you creates at least 15 grapeshot's bomb (the more's the better) and choose the character abilities that give you more damage when using bombs and traps.

- When the fight start, quickly use aard sign to push him against the wall (do it quickly before he use quen otherwise reload again!) and then keep throwing bomb at him! Don't stop throwing at all cost!

With this tactic you can kill him in less than 1 minutes... (i did this fight on normal)

I got him :D 'AzNheadbange' I used your advice regarding the conversation with Iorveth, I took your your advice 'therpgstore' regarding the potions to use, and 'Gvaz' your Aard Ligh/Heavy/Heavy technique worked in the end.

Thanks for helping me everyone, really appreciate it! Now I just need to figure out how I buggered up the Scent of Incense quest lol!

Hey all, I've also reached Letho but can't beat him, he keeps spamming signs specially Arrd sign when i get close. I just bought some daggers to lob at him, I have the skill in throwing them I equipped them, but they don't show up in the main screen.

All that shows is my fire trap please help any one

To equip your daggers, drag them into one of your "pocket" slots on the inventory screen, then press control to bring up your radial menu and select them. Alternately, press 4 to cycle through your equipped pocket items.


Throwing Knives = Letho easy mode. Just wait for his shield to drop first.

You can beat Letho to half health easily by doing the following

1. As soon as the fight starts - Aard him. Slash him a couple of times with heavy strikes, then dodge.
2. After you dodge, Aard him, hit him again, and prepare to dodge.
3. Keep repeating step 2. He will not cast Quen unless you get out of range. If he does cast it, wait it out, do NOT attack him when he has the shield.
