Sorry if this has come up before; my search button isn't functioning.

I've been playing W2 for ages with no issues. I recently installed with Galaxy and I still have both installed. When I try to run the Galaxy copy I get "application unable to start correctly: error 0xc0000142"

Has anyone seen this before?

I know this is common windows error, especially when it comes to games; I was just wondering if it had come up specifically with W32 or Galaxy.

I really wish I had seen that post before I reinstalled last night. Overnight it installed 10% in 10 hours, though it's now downloaded 6% in the last half hour so it must have stalled last night.

Something to try if reinstalling doesn't work, thanks.

edit: sure enough, reinstalling didn't do anything; hotfix worked, so thanks again.
