In Act 3 where I'm in the process of rescuing Anais, Geralt just casually mentions Boussy's death. WTF? How did I miss this? What happened to Boussy?

As far as I can tell it isn't actually shown or spoken about until that point for some reason, unless I completely missed it too.
Seems like a pretty big oversite, if true.
Yeah, I did some quick searching and found several others asking the same thing.

No luck on the wiki either.

Maybe this is in the realm of another dlc?

Geralt commented that he wouldn't be surprised that Radovid himself had ordered Boussy killed. However this is but a mere speculation.

Good point, I had forgotten about that. Still kind of came out of nowhere, though.
Maybe Dethmold did it?
Piecing together all I remember:
- Anais and Boussy with disguised Letho on the solar.
> After King Foltest was assasinated, the Temerian troops showed up, so the Temerian nobles probably took the children?
- Mary Louisa accepts Nilfgaardian's offer of protection.
> Not sure if Mary / Nilfgaardians were able to "rescue the children"?
- We also know that there is some kind of dealing between the Kaedwenians and Nilfgaardians in Chapter II. Though we know not the precise nature of their dealing.
- ???
- Anais ends up in Dethmold / Kaedweni's hands. Boussy is dead (or is he? can it be that he is actually alive?)

Speculations. The only thing that I can be certain of is: poor kids.
As with Shani, I'm pretty sure that they have plans to revisit Boussy's fate in the future.

"Jan Bartkowicz wrote...

More than those two things are left unresolved (Boussy's fate etc.)... we sure wish to cover it all in future releases."

There's a heavy reference pointing that Radovid ordered Boussy's death.
boussy supposedly died of illness sometime after the events of the siege.

geralt's just making crap up again like his comment about ves.

Where does it say that?
Temerian nobles didn't want Boussy or Anais to sit on the throne remember how they wanted to make Louisa/Aryan sign a contract that they had incestuos relation and it'd remove the childrens claim to the throne.

In your journal, but only if you make certain choices throughout the story. You don't always find out the what's happened to everyone. It actually says 'died under mysterious circumstances.'

??? Never got any reference to Boussy until Geralt said that he was dead.
