Any ideas on how to fix the keyboard? I'm having serious issues with the normal keyboard not responding reliably to keypresses. The Logitech G-13 is unusable becuase of the lag.

I've got a marginal graphics card (ATI 4650) but a Core I-7 quad processor, so I expect some possible video issues, but they shouldn't cause issues with the keyboard response.

It seems like certain keyboards have trouble with this game, for whatever reason. It certainly wouldn't be the first time that something made by Logitech has had a problem with this particular game (I'm looking at you, Logitech G35).

If you can, my advice would be to borrow another keyboard.

I was just saying that it might be the problem, given the problems people had with the G35 for awhile after launch. I don't have any lag whatsoever, and I'm running it on a 5770 with a 10 year-old USB keyboard.

EDIT: Actually, I checked and it's a PS/2 keyboard. My bad.

See? That's strange that you would be the one with lag, when you're clearly the one with the better GPU.

I wonder if there's an issue with certain keyboards, because when I say I have no lag, I mean none whatsoever. Key presses go through immediately.

Exactly. I've never had to hit the key more than once. That's why it's so stunning to me when people with better hardware report lag.

Could game resolution play a significant role? I play in 1440x900, which is obviously easier to run than the 1920x1080 and higher resolutions that many people use.

I have this issue too. I'm using the logitech mk260.
I thought it was because of the wireless connection or perhaps response lag due to using an LCD TV.

IIRC there was a recent thread where the OP complained of lagging actions. It turned out to be the driver of his (Steel Series?) keyboard. Uninstalling the driver solved all the issues.
