Anyway we can share builds, or plan builds? I've searched for what seems like an hour. I absolutely (suck) at this game for some reason, even though I can beat God of War 1/2/3 on hardest difficulties. I suspect i'm just building my character wrong, I pref the sword path and it seems weak at the beginning.

No one has made one yet?
Go with signs, then swords and you'll never fail.

I don't think there is a skill calculator yet. There is however a section in the manual that describes each skill's level 1 and level 2 effect.

I'm assuming your not able to reach the end of 2 different paths (Swords/signs) by the end of the game, correct?

How many points do you have at 35?

Well you get 1 point per level (level 1 doesn't count), so being at level 35 gives you 34 points. I think if you are doing Iorveth's you can get to level 35, as for Roche's I got to level 32 or 33.

If you spread the skills thin enough, you can reach the end of 2 paths no problem. Not sure about all 3 (signs + alchemy + swordsman) paths though.

It never changes to 2 points per level? Could of swore it did.

No, but sometimes you get 2 levels at the same time - xp reqs for each level are the same, and some quests give you more than 1000 xp
Is the 4th tree viable? Or should I not take any of those skills? Deflecting arrowa and throwing daggers and such.
Until now I did not pick those talents.

I usually just take the bare minimum in the 4th tree. Other than the prologue I don't remember archers giving me trouble and as for throwing daggers, some claims it is overpowered (and spammable) but I personally didn't find a need for it.
The two end skills in the basic training tree have mutagen slots, so you want at least one point in them, and since the vigor regen one gives you an extra vigor point at level 2 you might as well have that - you need 6 points in here to unlock the 3 main trees, and extra vigor is always useful, especially if you like to use Quen sign, where it doesn't regenerate.
