shivnz: weird. i guess a pair of tits is enough for most people to form attachments to virtual characters...
Tits? who looks at her tits?

With that stubborn red hair, those gorgeous green eyes and that heavenly voice who needs to look at her tits.
Her ass...? well thats a different matter.. I find it difficult to watch out for monsters when she starts walking in front of me. ...

rsayao: One big word for you. Horns.

shivnz: which is weird, because i thought the weirder a chick looked, the more creepy and stalkerish fanboys got... take mass effects tali character... or even that creepy elf chick from dragon age 2... both characters are butt-ugly, annoying and thoroughly unlikable, but the number of geeks that love them because of their alien/fantasy and 'weird chick' fetishes are actually kinda scary... to say nothing of bloody embarrassingly pathetic :D
Talk about judgmental. I sense the force (insecurity) is strong in this one.

You leave Tali out of this.

Ahem. Uh... I mean, who are those people you mentioned? Okay, to be fair to people who played DA2, you don't exactly have many options. You're pretty much limited to the ugly elf or syphilis.

Ebon-Hawk: Sorry guys, for me Triss comes second to Bastila :)
I have to agree. But Triss is a close second.

The one where all your posts were authored by an E-Jock. Unfortunately for you, I like normal girls. I'm sure there are plenty of other anonymous nerds that can bolster your ego though. A gamer calling people geeks sure is cute though.

This is a teachable moment.

Remember kids, whether you like your women in trash bags, with pointy ears, or filled to the brim with magic that could tear you into confetti-sized strips, we all have one thing in common--freaky sex.

Sorry. I'm not very good at teachable moments.

Speaking of Bastila, Witcher 2 is the first game I've looked up the vocal talent for that didn't end up involving Jennifer Hale. Was really surprised by that, because it seems like she's in pretty much everything of quality. Still, the new VA for Triss is great. The person who did her voice in the first Witcher sounded like she was constantly in a state of anger no matter what, so I'd call it a change for the better.
Freaky sex. Yay

Jennifer Hale. Yay

Claudia Black. Yay

The only other chick in a video game i would be willing to make that same statement for is Leliana from DAO, another hot sexy red head.
QTF.

Actually, Shani was a red head ............. My wife is a redhead........... Hmm, I think that I am seeing a pattern...............
I think Triss wasn't developed enough. We didn't really get to talk to her about random things like we did with the party members in Dragon Age. I wish there was more of Triss. CDP tell great stories, but the only caracter that undergoes any real development is Geralt himself. The others are great, but not developed as much as they should be. Roche or Iorveth are very experienced and have many stories, but we didn't learn much about them. Triss knows a lot about Geralt but alll the talks with her were pretty straight forward.
I dislike Triss for what she have done to Geralt and Yennefer in the books, and no matter how much CDPR will try to make her a saint, I won't change my mind. The first time Geralt will see Yennefer in the W3, the redhead is going to be rejected.

I don't think they're trying to make her a saint. I've got the feeling that they're building up to the point when Geralt finds out that she betrayed him - either in the blunt, obvious emotional way, with only reluctantly telling about Yennefer and never revealing the full truth about Geralt's past, while trying to win him for herself, or maybe even in more than that one way, with political plots etc playing a role. I'm looking forward to that and willfully play along by trusting Triss and developing affection to her.

I approve of your theory and I hope it will be true. Triss is becoming more and more OCC and her status as token invulnerable character is another reasons why I cannot stand her. She was far more involved in political conspiracy than f.e Sheala/Sile (who ironically replaced Sabrina as Philippa's right hand). Have you read the fourth book with the iconic confrontation between Yennefer and Triss? Guess who refrained from helping her best friend, ex-lover and little sister-figure. Besides, I dislike her for casting fireballs at my back - so annoying!
