Anyone? Help?

According to Witcher Wiki it's related to getting the merchant to pay both Geralt and Sile for the Kayran by using Axii on him, and the ability kicks in later on when Geralt gets paid, but i can't confirm it atm.
Convince merchant to double his pay for Kayran contract
I did convince him. Let's see if the Axii thing worked after I fight the Old man. Might take a little longer than usual since I'm going Insane and really taking my time, for safety's sake. =)

Only thing I got right at convincing him was Conjuror but had that already. In previous run I used Intimidation and that also worked for the double reward but not for the perk.

Yep, that did it! Thanks!

I wonder how people are getting gold from start. Cheating TW1? I had 14,000 orens and started with 200 in TW2. I know many people who imported and started with about the same, despite what they had in TW1 save.

Doesn't matter really, money is easy to gain in the game. =0

I actually quite enjoy the money system in the game. Its not like most RPGs where you can get more moeny than you know what to do with. I find in both Witcher 1 and 2, you usually have just enough for what you really need.

So true! But hey, 20% off actually helps a lot! =))

You're welcome.

Regarding the coin, well, 6 years* have gone by since the events in Vizima, Geralt likely blew most of his coin on whores during that time ;)

* It's 6 years, right ?

A month passed since the end of Witcher 1. Geralt sure liked to spend his hard earned cash in my game too...

It's one month really ?

I wonder where i got the 6 years from. I'm probably mixing up my sequels here.

6 years is the time passed since the battle of Brenna

Ah, thanks mate, that's probably where the 6 years come from then.
With the first save I imported, I ended up with about 250 thousand orens. I don't think I had that much in TW1, so some wires were crossed and Geralt's account was credited an obscene amount.
