I think my CookedPC Folder has a problem, because everything I put in there my Witcher 2 does not read.Like I put my dlc there and I did not work, I put some mods in there and it did not work either.Does anyone know how to fix it?

Have you reinstalled the game?
If so, maybe you have installed it into another folder and now you update incorrect one?

mateusz.adamus: Have you reinstalled the game?

I reinstalled before.So what should I do then?

And I put in the folder that the guy tells me to do it.But even the DLCs dont work...

about the dlc. did you use the official self installing exe files? you shouldnt have to put dlc anywhere yourself

I downloaded all of them and updated and it said update successfull (or whatever it sayd when it works) and I still dont get the dlc items...

how about if you start a new game. when you wake with triss. do they show up then?

I'm gonna try that, but now I'm reinstalling again to see if it helps...But thanks for all the help man, after I try those things I'm gonna post the results here.

If you're reinstalling make sure that you have version 1.1. And if not install patch manually.
DLCs will only show up if you have your game patched.

When I reinstalled I got an error right after the game updated by itself(that is right after the installation is over) saying "Installed game version is invalid or incomplete".

sounds like it downloaded and tried to update patch 1.1 but failed

did you restart your computer after uninstalling, before you did the install?

also if you try to install again, move your savegames to a safe place, then clear the all the Witcher 2 stuff where the savegames are. you can also try removing everything where the game installed the game after you uninstall, so no old files remain there
