So i made 7 harpy traps, went to the place where all their nest are... harpy's started to attack me.... started to put traps on the floor... first 4 traps get picked up by harpies... the other ones they just refuse to pick up...

And yes i am "luring" them in the direction of the traps, they even fly over it..

Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong. Tried 6 times now, still no luck.

Not all of the nests are in that area. You'll find the rest as you progress in the plot.

Not a bug, the rest of the nests are in an as-yet unaccessible area nearby that will become available to you as you advance the main story.

*EDIT* Woah, well and truly beaten to the punch.

Avoiding spoilers, there were only four nests in the area you were in; you will have to search elsewhere to make use of the rest of your traps.

You really don't need nests, or, at least, visible ones. All you need is traps, and harpies.

Harpy appears, set down trap, run away a bit. Rinse & repeat.

I finished the Harpy quest in the Quarry alone, didn't need any in other locations.

EDIT: Oh, and one thing: if you complete the Harpy quest, no more harpies (at least, in that area). Me, I liked the endless supply of harpy components, nice for alchemy, nice for selling. So I'd leave this quest to the very last.
