A game series is released with PC exclusive being the buzz where the PC community pretty much unite and buy this game and call it the saviour due to bioware selling out and going all out on the console. Now the same has happen here pretty much giving us the strong impression that all PC support for this game from this point on will be secondary to the xbox 360.

Alot of people who bought this to support the PC exclusive/ DRM free movement. But now its fallen to the bioware greed bug and will now turn to shit.
I hope this isnt the case i really do but name 1 developer who does cross platform games that takes PC first...theres none. They all say they do but its just not the case.

U wont be getting any money from me in the future and i say alot of other PC owners you basically lied will also be upset. The only way to redeem yourself and to gain some credibility after selling your souls is by showing us! Mod support for Witcher 2 ,Witcher 3 being open world and large that pushes for hardware far away from the console with mod support.

RIP
Your creativity,Your Souls And You PC fan boi community.

wat
PC hipsters :(
Spelling mistakes don't make you look any better :D. And why weren't you bitchin' when the game came out? This was clearly meant to be on consoles from the start, why would they've gone trough the effort for a UI change.

How many times wronged does it take for you to learn from your mistakes ?

We have a classic example with Bioware.
We have a classic example with pretty much every multi platform game.

can you blame us for being wronged over n over and finally learning?

******

I didnt say anything like this from the start because all the little issues it had couldve been fixed in a patch..Wishful thinking ? lol

Why is it such a big deal that others get to enjoy this game too?
This game is nowhere near the console crappiness that is Dragon Age 2, or even Mass Effect games.

Bioware started with console market way back with Kotor games and those games had crappy combat with good story and stupid UI.

Witcher 2 has a better UI, much better combat and still a great story.

So CD PRoject > Bioware. Just because Bioware fucked up it does not mean everyone will

The PC version has proved successful enough that they can now afford to port the game to the Xbox 360. I find absolutely no problem with that. You seem to be suffering from the 'take my ball and go home' mentality where if you're finished playing you want to make sure nobody else has any fun while you're away.

I think it's great that The Witcher 2 is successful enough to earn itself an Xbox 360 port, and I hope that Xbox 360 owners will enjoy the game when it's released. Not everyone can afford a gaming computer so for those people an Xbox 360 would be the next best option.

I don't know what I was expecting in this thread... you don't get a -16 rep for presenting intelligent arguments in a thoughtful manner.

Still, I'm feeling a bit let down.

EDIT: -17 now! Way to go, moving on up in the world :)

This is why they took the forums down on thewitcher.com :)

Many agree with you, but some fanboys didn't want to face it. It's obvious they made the PC version so that porting it to console would require minimal effort, rather than make two different versions.

TW2 is still a good game, better than most of the trash released out there. But because most of us here had such high expectations, it results in bitter disappointment for many.

I dont think many of the people who bought this game are thrilled there Witcher series has now turned into a console game.
To be fair.
It's less a Console vs PC problem.
But a long time Gamers vs newcomers.

Some years ago some Consoles hat many deep, frustratingly difficult games.
So instead of stating flamewars every time something is ported to consoles (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I bet they are just as disappointed about games not being ported like PC gamers are the other way around), both PC and Console gamers should team up and demand more complex games being made for many different platforms.

And I honestly we all should hope the XBOX port sells well because it will show bioware/EA etc. that you can develop and sell complex games for Consoles (so PC games will get better, too)
