It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Is something to increase what you can bet on the mini games possible?
I kind of like dice poker but the ammounts you can bet make it almost worthless....
Might be a good way to get more Orens without it being literaly given to you.

Hey all, does anyone know if the author of the Insane Difficulty mod for The Witcher 1 is still around? Flash is his name if i remember correctly. It would be amazing if a similar mod of that quality was made for W2 in my opinion =)

I dont know if anyone here can answer that question, but since the official community forums have taken a long vacation im assuming that some of the old community came here in the meantime =)

Maybe somebody can confirm this, but I think he ended up working for CDPr and helped design TW2.

At the very least, I know for certain that he was a moderator of thewitcher.com forums when they were up.
Honestly, am I the only one who would like a mod that lets you remove mutagens? It seems like this would be possible but seeing the lack of any mods allowing this, maybe not. I would really like to try some out without losing the ability to use a different one later.

Same for me.
And for the runes for the equipment for that matter.

For the mutagens, tho, there is a mod that makes all the mutagens dropped have the effect of a greater one. At least you do not need to shove hem aside and wait for a greater one.

(Thanks again lyravega and Goekhan)
I just realized I actually re installed the rare and epic items to mysterious merchant AFTER patching to 1.2
1.2 seemed to alters def_shops.xml, so what is my best option?
And what were the changes?
Can I keep on going or am I going to face a huge problem?
Thanks

antihero_: Thanks, by the way I just made another update because sometimes that filter button doesn't seem to get created dynamically.
Edit: That button is out to get me. Hang on while I fix the fix.
How's it going? *anxiously waiting for the mod to be up again*

Here's a version people can test:
http://www.mediafire.com/?fmej9v1fvlk37ou

It's an extensive update (update, but not exactly a rewrite.)

It should even work with a gamepad now, as mentioned how in the readme. I broke down and installed motioninjoy and used a PS3 controller to test it since as somebody mentioned on the nexus, it was easy to reproduce the earlier issue using one (I think because you have to use that panel to select the inventory, coupled with resource loading issues.)

If there's still something borked, it's probably just a simple thing to correct at this point. But I wouldn't mind just playing through the game for some hours with it to make sure there aren't any more surprises before I unhide the nexus page.
I'm all over it, antihero! Glad you got something you are happy with.

I tested it shortly but it appears to work fine with a gamepad (360 controller in my case), the miscellaneous item filter was no longer missing.

The fact it comes just after the "all items" filter is not that bad because it's the default filter in trading, making the navigation to the junk filter (and therefore the sell) fast and easy.

Glad to see you added the option to navigate through the sorting options with the right trigger, as it works fine too.

So great job again !

The only missing option with the gamepad (or at least I didn't see it) is the ability to switch between asc/dsc which could be done with the left trigger for example.

My mistake, it's already working.

That should already use the left trigger for that... that not working for you? The right trigger should cycle to the next sorting button.

My bad, it wasn't working but now I know why.
I used customs "key bindings" and more important changed the left trigger binding.

So I just restored the default setting and it's work fine.
Sorry for this.

Thanks for the mod Antihero, i haven't noticed any bugs so far.^^

Btw do you have any plans to make a version with stack size and stack price sorting instead of individual sorting?
Better igni

in (1a) version igni can destroy objects like aard.
in (1b) version igni can burn all npc (or enmy) ;)

I'm just curious how complicated it would be to augment the ammount you can bet for mini games like poker dices, arm wrestling and fistfighting?
(Or just one of them)
Geralt is not risking his pretty face for nothing in fist fighting, I mean, what if he get a scar? (ok, never mind that last part ;)

antihero_: New Mod: Panel Tweaks - better item sorting and filters.
Adds a miscellaneous items filter and sorting options to various lists in the UI panels, namely the inventory and trading panels at this time. The panel to drink potions from is also sorted alphabetically, with even more panels planned for later.

Love your work, thank you.

BTW the Nexus link comes up with an error stating that the file is 'hidden' and not available for dowload.

Cheers.
