Corylea: How do mods work with the new patch?
Fine.
I have the Gog.com download and have never used a Mod before. I don't seem to have an items folder. Would anyone mind telling me how to use one. I really appreciate any help

You create one, File -> New -> Folder , under The Witcher2\CookedPC (depends where you installed though)

Depending on the mod you use it might come with subfolders pre-packed (but my mods don't) because i like being able to quickly see what files a mod modifies anyway, its not difficult. Just use the windows explorer

charleswang95: great mods makes my life so much easier :)
oh btw is there a mod that can increase the level max? I really want to learn more abilities since there is only 35 levels.
I had a look into this. You can set the exp gain multiplier and the stats and abilities you gain on each level up but there seems to be a hidden EXP table or csv somewhere that says at what experience is needed for a level transistion from A to B elsewhere. If someone can find me that I'll gladly do the rest.

that would be awesome!!! Imagine a level 99 witcher!!! just pure awesomeness
this is great, keep the mods coming.
Currently using the following:
eRe4s3r 's facelift and whiter hair mods
Fireundubh change max weight capacity
Majestic123's classic dice

planning to add the potion duration fixer and possibly the mutagen or enhance all gear ones pretty soon maybe just to try them out --

so far these work well together. Thank You Modders for making the game more enjoyable for those of us who cannot do this ourselves. It sure goes a long way to making the game have more immersion when these little annoyances are better.

Today o will release the full version, with a normal and lower chances edition!
Lesma666,

Could you add the Sword of the Warrior Princess of Xenthia to his inventory?

It's bugged in the normal game right now :(
I won my dice game, but didn't get the sword
i think the combat in TW2, especially against the sword wielding humanoids, is really fun but not enough of it :P
usually mods that spawn entities require LUA or something of that level.
do you guys think that a mod that can spawn enemy units is possible at this stage?

MERCHANT MOD DOES NOT WORK AFTER PATCH 1.1

just a heads up for the creators.
It is a Chapter 2 item.

You get it from the Dwarf named Burdon.

It's the reward you get after gambling with him for a quest item.

Merchant Mod is working for me on 1.1

Don't know about the innkeeper, but the Mysterious Merchant is working for sure.
I just bought some rune recipes from him
