i found a wisp on the sewers and he asks me some sort of password , i am doing it by trial and error but the thing seems to be endless, anyone knows the password?

Mine was the same. If you talk to the mage who's an armor/swordsmith, he tells you what to do.

How do you figure out the code based on the encrypted manuscript? I got the hint from the mage of Ban Ard but the words on the manuscript are completely different from what I can tell the guardian.

Ban ard give you the exact solution. Here is what he says :
Nanna Kanpa Zi uddu-ya ia ia gat exa nanna zi uddi-zi gat kanpa nibbit.
And what he adds :
Nanna kanpa means forge ahead.
Nanna zi means backtrack.

So you have to tell what is between nanna kanpa and nanna zi like this is written and from nanna zi to the end reverse order (meaning you begin by nibbit).
Check with the wooglah solution you will see what.

Or you could just do it by trial and error. That's what I did because I couldn't make sense of the hints. If you have plenty of time to waste it'll work, and with the shield sign up, you won't take any damage when you screw up.
