endtherapture: I saved him cos he also knew about the Wild Hunt.
The Wild Hunt are planning something big, and are perhaps more of a threat than Nilfgaard, Letho could be a valuable ally in the fight against the hunt.
When we hunted them together in the past, we killed loads of them, he is definitely a very helpful ally!
That's a good point , that would be the only reason i would consider if i had to spare him , since " an enemy of my enemy is my friend" , and the school of the viper was created to fight the Wild Hunt which is a serious danger indeed
However when roleplaying it , maybe i'm not faithful to the book , but my Geralt wants to rebuild Kaer Mohen and re create a school of the wolf to fight the Wild Hunt with dedicated Witchers , and he wants to get rid of Letho because he sees him as a cynical witcher who is merely a tool of the Niilfgaard emperor and morally corrupt .
But ok , maybe other see Letho as a regular witcher , not good not evil who just did all he could to revive the school of the viper , but i have troubles having sympathy for him
