I don't mind the mouse movement, I just find losing the dice because they "fell on the floor" isn't all very fair
Button to see interactive items (Alt from The Witcher)
Larger load saved games window (like in The Witcher)
Delete / overwrite saved games.
Some of these seem easy to fix, some will probably never happen even w/ modding capability.

Minimap w/ fixed north.

Not treating the mouse like crap. It's all floaty and rubbery with responsiveness, and is neglected in almost aspects of the UI.

Potion drinking outside of meditation. Arguments against this have been pathetic. You did not spam potions like Diablo in TW1. You faced massive toxicities if you overdid it, and if you used them during combat you left yourself open to blows from opponents. That was a major function of the Quen sign.

View all my save games through the menu and load/delete/overwrite them as I see fit.

View interactive objects with a key (not likely as this weak medallion feature is supposed to take its place).

Fix for Geralt running five steps in one direction when you simply tap the directional key once. I just wanted to face a different way so I could attempt to loot this tiny bag on the ground, not run 3 yards away from it.

Flipping and pirouettes for dodging groups of enemies.

Toggle for turning off auto-selection of targets. Add a targeting reticle and let us simply face the enemies we want to kill. Don't send us flying across the screen to hit enemies we weren't even facing.

"You've already read this" indicator

Actually learning formulae instead of needing the physical scroll on us.

Storage.

Full audio controls.

Full keyboard remapping.

See the trend here? We just want the things that worked in the Witcher 1. They improved so much, but they also "fixed" a bunch of stuff that wasn't broken.

-Allow you to move between journal/map/character/inventory screens without needing to go back to the game. At the moment it's "change which quest I'm tracking, exit out, load map screen, exit out..." and repeat for every time I want to take a look at a range of quests. Not a game breaker, but a tiny annoyance.

I hate to say it but some changes like UI and combat system were made to be more button friendly.

Why do you hate to say it? It's the truth. :p
Hi,all what i wish to see they add/fix in the next patches:

- Storage.
- Map waypoint placed by the player.
- Able to overwrite and delete the savegames.
- Full zoom allow player to see the name of the houses.
- Components & Formulas listed in alphabetical order...
- When you gather the erbs near the name should be seen their element.
- Different menù for Alchemy and Equip formulas, same for their components.
- Places like Power Circle should be displayed on map once discovered like in W1.
- When you apply grease i'd lke to see a real colour change on my swords [can someone confirm this to me,please? Don't know if this is my own graphic "bug"].

I hate to say it because it sounds like I'm holding it against CDP, mostly because they say The Witcher 2 was developed for PC. Silly me. :) Well, I am. Please CDP, seriously, what were you thinking?

They were thinking what every game developer has thought for years now. Consoles are where the money is at. I admit, I was a bit disappointed as well-almost betrayed, when it became obvious that so much had been done to make their upcoming console ports easier, despite their constant harping and hidden messages in their trailers extolling their commitment to PC gaming. But, I loved the story and how it related to the novels so much, that I'm willing to give them some slack. They do, in the end, need to make money I guess. :p

I don't mind them bringing The Witcher 2 to consoles but I hope they will make the UI and combat system for the PC version of The Witcher 2 more mouse (PC) friendly. :)

To do in The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition...

keitheady: 2. Be able to pick up specific loot instead of just grabbing everything off the ground.
I'm not sure what you mean by that. You can already select specific items in the loot window instead of pressing the loot all button.
All of this, plus the technical problems (I'm one of the unlucky ones with low performance on high-end PC) made me not play more than 10 minutes of the game, for now.

Sad really... Especially when you see the console centric stuff raining supreme in this "PC exclusive"...

Yes, I hate to say it too but it looks (and feels a bit) like I'm playing a console game. The looks I can get over, but functionality....

OMG the game really needs this. It's so time consuming having to look through that massive list of formulas, and no sorting function only adds to the frustration.

This is another extremely frustrating component of the game that needs fixing.

- A way to compare the gear you want to buy with the gear you are wearing without having to cancel trading and pull up your inventory and then talk to the merchant again.

- Mutagens and armor enhancements should not be permanent.
