Ok so I'm trying to finish Melitelle's Heart before the end of Act 1, but unfortunately I must have used these 2 items in alchemy previously. Is there anywhere where they respawn or can be bought? I think i saw them in the incense shop but since using the items I closed that down for a quest so I'm not sure where I can replace them. Afaik the wraiths don't respawn in the manor when you've completed that as well so I seem to be stuck a bit.

I kinda wish quest items were't used in Alchemy at all if theres no way to get them back :(

I am also stuck trying to find essence of death (done wraith quest hours ago, used item in synthesis by accident/annoying), anyone figure this out? Is there anywhere to get this in chapter 1?

The endrega embryos can drop off of regular endregas, so you can get more of those easily.

The elf guard sells wraith lures, so maybe if you buy those and use them more wraiths will spawn?

Did not know this, whereabouts is the elf guard?

So I can try take a wraith lure to the place where previoulsy there were wraiths and get more to come out? Or can they be used anywhere?

Idk, I never bought any. Cedric is the elf and he is located up a ladder on a platform outside the Flotsam gate near Lobinden.

OK lures do not work. Theres no wraiths anywhere.

Can someone make a mod to make essence of death for sale the way they did with the troll head?

im having the same problem.

is there any other place where i could find essence of death item???

if not could someone please create a mod for us to have this item been sold at any shop.

Made a little mod for everybody who's going crazy about not getting the essence of death:

Instructions:
- Download file: https://rapidshare.com/files/2556448207/essenceOfDeath.rar
- Extract file into CookedPC/items in your Witcher 2 install folder.
- If you already have a file of the same name in the items folder just overwrite it.
You won't lose your troll's tongue ;)
- Start the game
- Go to Cedric and get the Essence of Death from him.

You can find essence of death from a wraith who spawns at midnight at the hanged man's tree where two people are hanged on a tree , it is near the bandit camp at south east.
