Hey in chapter 2 I see that there is a merchant selling Draug armor schematic. It looks good but expensive at 1600 orens. Is this worth it or should i just get something better next chapter? I finished the game once and know there is a better armor to be picked up later but it's really late in the game. What do you think?

If you found the second ship in chapter 2 for Mystic River you can grab Armor of Ysigth (spelling?) shortly after entering Loc Muinne and upgrade it to Vran Armor without much trouble.

Id say its not worth it but I got it made anyway, its not like youre lacking in materials/orens if you grab everything you can.

Well, on the Roche path, you are essentially given armor early on in the act that's similar, if not better, than Draug armor, nevermind that you only get the ingredients near the end of the Act for Draug armor, and if you haven't noticed gear tends to get a big upgrade between Acts, rather than within individual Acts.

I guess that's my way of saying, no, it's not really worth the gold, especially if you find that expensive, as you're going to be crying at the cost of diagrams etc in the next Act if you find 1600 orens expensive. :p

What armor you are given you are talking about Revial? I entered the ACT 2 and haven't gotten any. I dug myself up in the underground tunnel and got a decent one though. I save up to abour 3400 orens now since I know how much the best silver sword costs. Guess i will skip it for now :)

Draug armor is one of my favs. also you can find armor of Ys in the sewers on Act III.

If you're on the Roche path, the King will give you some pretty nice armor before you cross the battlefield the first time. Though when you actually do this will be dependent on when you choose to do all the sidequests I suppose.

I am going to cross the battlefield now to find all those war relics (Zoltan is following me) but I am still in the camp. Do I have to talk to him for the armor? I did all the sidequests though no one have rewarded me with any meaning full stuff.

Does it looks good? That's the only reason I want certain armor. Some armors are just horrible to look at.

Well, I dunno what to tell you. If you've already got Zoltan following you, then you've already talked to Dethmond and the King about crossing the battlefield, so you should have already been given armor and an amulet and something else I can't recall.

AHH I just see it in my inventory. He didn't mention it to me though just the amulet. Thanks for the tip :)

Maybe im wrong but isnt armor of Ys craftable and requires troll skin? You find the armor of Ysigth in the sewers, along with a sword and the diagram to upgrade the armor to Vran.
