Ive downloaded the english VO stuff honestly twice, maybe 3 times and it just keeps redownloading...save yourself the time and bandwidth and just play the game - I assume its for non-localized (english) versions or its a file thats not compatable with this version since its already in English

well it's failed the verification 3 times now, not sure why, maybe my wireless connection? but downloaded everything else fine.

They could give a better description if it's not for english game already.


1 more try...I don't want to be missing voices :(

Ugh 1 gigabyte of additional voice overs? What's worse I can't install the extra mission yet because it's downloading the 1 gigabyte file. After that it probably is going to loop over and over again on the english subtitles and text patch.

What does the Preorder Code Redemption mean? I haven't got any. It certainly isn't the registeration key, because I applied it already.

I don't think the English Language Pack does anything if you installed from GOG. If you go to where you installed TW2/CookedPC, the en0.w2speech file is exactly 921MB. I don't think it's a coincidence that it's the same size as the English Language Pack.

Mine keeps downloading 4223 KB of 'English subtitles and text' over and over. It's done this at least 30 times now and it keeps going..

sigh...4th fail, that's 4 gigs wasted, not that i care about bandwidth luckly. Either I have bad luck/connection or something, or my game doesn't need the file but there should be a message about that if so. or even a message saying it failed verification, instead it just loops.

It restarts up every time I open the launcher. I mean, it's no big deal, just don't leave the launcher open, but I was wondering if there was a line in the conf somewhere telling it to retrieve the file.
