Frankly, only Kayran ever makes me feel excitiment fighting despite it wasn't that much a fight...more like an interactive cutscene after 3 tentacles down.

Letho's fight was good but frustrating. Why? because he doesn't look like monster yet his HP bar was almost endless compared to my geralt dead after 3-4 hits. They should have given him the ability to guard like crazy and soften his health. Geralt not only get a hike from merchant but also from other witcher in health? COme on...Letho's second fight was boring tho. There was nothing new. I even had to go easy on him cuz i feel symphathy he had to swing at air like a dumbass.
(I remember a scioatael capable of deflecting more than 5 hits from me in a row-what pissed me off more was that they did that without having to change the stance)

Draug and Dragon's was awkward. I felt like Mario fighting that fire spitting turtle dragon. Jump out, roll it, hit, jump out, roll in,....The dragon was esspecially clumsy-like a baby. For a moment, i even go easy on it cuz i thought its big round eyes looknig at me longingly were cute
At least Kayran got cutscenes to get me riled up. COME ON.Btw did you know you can kill the Draug by laying like 20 snares and wait for him to walk in ? The trap would deal dmg directly to health, not armor.

Elite enemies like Bullvores are a joke. Arachas only scared me once cuz one pokes me in the back while i'm fighting one in the front. Gargolyes was hard but only because they explode to destroy my quen after their death helping another gargolye kill me by 2-3 wallops.

Overall the bosses were designed to give off frustration but sadly, not in a good way like god of war and prince of persia. Bosses here just have a huge chunk of health , crazy armor and high definition appearance...
Gallons of internet ink have been spilled in agreement with your sentiment.

Many, many love the game but could do without the bosses.

To be honest, I can't think of a single game where the boss fights are what I go back for. They are always too easy, too hard and gimmicky either way. So, I don't ever downgrade a game for uninspiring Big Baddies. I have never met a great one.

God of war and prince of persia?
ITs bosses's fight that made god of war famous

Hanns.g has never played God of War.

Prince of Persia, yes. Still hold to my opinion.
Metal Gear Solid series bosses are pretty solid. Required lots of tactic, skill and time.

What about the final boss in Arcanum?

The only other I can think of that I ever really enjoyed was Kefka from Final Fantasy 6.

LOL what internet you talking about?

One im one is hating on the Kayran, not praising it for ANY possitive feeling!

Personally I Loved the Lethos fight as it was a RPG fight where you were forced to use YOUR CHARACTERS abilities and think strategically!

Like the mass majority of people I hated the Kayran fight and didnt feel any grand appreciation or thrill when I finally followed the walkthrough patern and beat the Kayran.

Gimmicky/Patern fights that have nothing to do with character you playing annoy the piss outta me in RPG.

They fine for action games and twitch adventure games but RP stands for ROLE PLAY so you should have to play the role of your character in RPG fights, not rely on paterns and your own dexterity/hand eye ability!

Dragon was a little gimmicky as well but far better then the Kayran.

Kayran belongs in the above mentioned Mario Game, not a RPG.
Hey, i remember
Play Shadow of Colossus hahahaha from PS1
There, boss fight literally was everything. ANd the game got good reviews
