Alright I have the game patched to 1.2 since I have it on Steam and I'm trying to delete the savegames in game (I know I can do it manually in Windows Explorer). Anyways I mouse over the game save in the main menu and press delete but nothing happens. I have disconnected my 360 controller as well. Am I doing something wrong?


Also another bug I've noticed in the game is that in conversations where you can use persuasion, intimidation, or Axii sign hex you can repeatedly use the same persuasion, etc. speech option as many times as you want if you fail the check the first time. I'm not sure if this was intended or not but it definitely defeats the point of having those checks in the first place. The persuasion, etc. speech option should be removed after failing the check.

I don't know about your problem with deleting save games, but what you describe here does not apply to every conversation. In fact, most of these checks you only have one chance to do, and the option is then removed (or the conversation advances to a point where you can't make the same dialogue choice again). I suppose there could be more out there that allow you to try an infinite amount of times that I haven't seen, but I seem to recall there are more of those who don't. Either way, I can only assume it's not working as intended, but who knows? I second your request to make all of them non-repeatable.

Are you sure you're hitting the "delete" key and not backspace or something else?

Is your save folder in the default location, and with no weird characters for the path?

Anyway, try using the save game manager that's been posted here.

Wait I thought backspace and delete key were interchangeable? Guess I'll try with delete then.

Yup. Delete with your "delete" key, works for me although the process can be rather tedious when you have 50 to delete one-by-one.

As for dialog options, some conversations would only let you use the options once, there's no second chance if you fail the check. A very early example is the prologue (temple part) where you try to stop the soldiers from killing the civilians, if you fail the check (it's very hard to fail though) the civilians get killed...
