I hate everyone. I hate CD Project RED a little less than some.
Apparantly you can now download the polish voices too. That's ought to be interesting to try out some day.

How is the polish Geralt voice? I have no problem with reading subtitles so long as its a good voice.

DarknessGlow: To CD Projekt RED,

I hate you. You've made a game that challenges my computer to run it to make it nothing short of beautiful. You made me examine the environments, looking at a gigantic overturned tree and wonder what could have forced this tree up from the very roots.

Then you proceed to keep egging me on and play for "just one more quest" or to gather "just one more crafting item" making it impossible for me to sleep! This madness cannot continue! Upon release of Witcher 2 I stayed up until the sun was shining through my windows without realizing it. I can only count myself lucky I had neither school nor work that day.

Throwing into the mix of these complaints you put in an engaging story. This is where my hate really begins to show. You don't give me clear right or wrong answers! You're forcing me to decide something for which there is no clear path! And sometimes only giving me seconds to do it! Why would you give someone this stress? Its difficult enough when you have to decide between a racist and a radical without the presence of mind that there will be a good and bad outcome for either decision!

And finally, the combat. Personally speaking I cannot tell you enough how much I lament the fact that you've made me plan ahead, made me look down into a cave and know who my enemy will be before they even appear and make me consider what it is I need to do before hand as you would if those situations were real. You have made it so I can't blindly click away in hopes of bashing my enemy to death but made every sword swing vital and every block needed.

For the potential loss of months worth of social interaction I hate you. You should be ashamed of yourselves for making a product that can glue a person to their seat for hours on end adoring the story/characters.

Regards
-DarknessGlow

P.S.

The fact that you give this to me completely DRM Free is insulting. Its like you're telling us that your product is so good that you don't even need protection because the fans of the previous game will buy this one without question and balance out the potential pirates. That's just insulting!
Nice post and I fully agree...
I wish to express my full support to this high quality thread!
I too hate you CDPR. The mind numbing quality of your game has put every other modern title to shame. You've raised the bar so high that I may never be as impressed again.

And how dare you couple the release with a flawless distribution system that I'm loving more each day. Life was much more simple when I wouldn't dream purchasing from a digital outlet other than Steam.

I might as well give you my bank account number now, as you've gained a customer for life.

DarknessGlow: Seeing Geralt punt kick a guy in the face after giving him a knee to the gut... come on, miles and miles above Witcher 1.
omg i know i thought the exact same thing about the exact same scene!!!

the first time i saw that scene - watching Geralt react to his opponent rolling over to protect the chest you just stamped on by winding up and booting the guy full power in the face while he's curled up into the foetal position... i have laughed half choked and compulsively got out of my chair and kicked the air in immitation hahahahaha

Geralt - that mix of disinterest and brutal effeciency that makes me love him so much as a character.

...that and we share the same 2 favourite passtimes ^_^

i really dont want to go to work right now :(
imposible to not fall in love with the graphics, how the heck they manage to make such an awesome game in soo litle time??
BTW the work with speedtree its just overwhelming!!
would love to see the red engine on the market
I hate you CDPR as the boobs in this game are so round and juicy that i cant read or hear any story line when a pair of juicy boobs are in the way.damn you and damn you some more

Oh and the beaver shot in the first scene damn i totally had to restart the level as i miised all the conversation.

you bastards!
Ya know I am a bit aggravated with you too CDPR for making my The Witcher 2 game instalation experience so absolutely perfect......You CDPR guys and gals over there in Poland must be absolute perfectionists when it comes to making video games and I really, really really just can't stand perfectionists..........So cut it out will ya and lets get real....

I know! You'd think they want their customers to actually be happy with their purchase! What kind of company does that? None that I know of. Certainly not someone who develops pieces of art for the electronic age.

And who just gives away a full, detailed game guide away for free? They are doing something and not telling us I say! I have never gotten a guide without paying through the nose for it! Check the code to make sure there isn't DRM in the game guide.
care to give a hand to gsc for the making of stalker 2?

'Free' stuff. If it is truly free then you can get it and use it without handing over any money. Instead you first have to buy the Witcher 2 in order to get the 'free' stuff. Hmmmmmm...
