Ok... i want to summarize all the best gear avaliable in witcher 2 in all chapters...
I would like your help from your experience and game play.....

Which is the best equipment/weapons you can get in chapter 1?
Which is the best equipment/weapons you can get in chapter 2?
Which is the best equipment/weapons you can get in chapter 3?

and important as well.... how do you get it?
???
Chapter 1: kayran armor/jagged blade/superb witchers' silver sword
Chapter 2 roche: dragon armor/arbitrator/blood sword
Chapter 2 iorveth: dragon armor/gwyhyr/harpy
chapter 3 : armor of ysgith or vran armor/caerme, forgotten vran sword or operator's staff/ deithwen or addan deith

Chapter 2 Roche has the strongest silver sword and Chapter 2 Iorveth has the strongest steel sword. For the opposites (steel/silver), you should be able to craft better swords than the ones you find.

and what are the best armor enhancements? I have just aquired vran armor and I'm not sure if I can stick 3 diamond enhancements in it, or will I find/craft better later in the game.
Maybe somebody can explain to me. I don't understand why so many people in these forums gush over Harpy with its 16-29 base damage when a robust meteorite sword (blue and red) have a base damage of 30-33.

Values taken from the GameBanshee Witcher2 pages.

I just don't get it.

I believe anticitizen101's point was that you can craft better swords. Meteorite swords are definitely better, but they are crafted, not found, and they are available on either path.

I prefer Negotiator to Harpy anyway. Negotiator's criticals are just devastating.
