Any time I open the launcher I get this message, and am unable to click on 'Downloadable content' 'Registered Users' 'www.thewitcher.com' I was able to register previously, and start the DLC download, but my power went out towards the end of the DLC installation. Ever since, I've had this problem.

Having the exact same problem right now. Hit IE with a hammer and everything.

EDIT: Though I should note I'm trying to register it, not even up to the DLC.

I'm afraid to even start my game, because I may have to start over if I'm able to fix this issue. I've had instances where DLC had to be installed prior to starting the game for it to take effect. I don't really want to miss out on 'troll troubles' and any other future DLC.
Does no one else have this problem?
maybe your internet connection is slow. Everytime I open launcher it says the same thing"connection error" and after i wait for about half min it works.

Just noticed on the upper left of the launcher a little skull and crossbones, if you mouse over it, it says "Offline".

The launcher also seems to crash when I close it... I haven't even started playing yet.

This is the exact same thing that happens with me.
Skulls and crossbones offline here too. Maintenance? New patch coming?

When it comes to connection error it probably pops into my mind about firewall. CDPR needs to confirm on which port they are actually using for this connection. If you can surf the net and they are using port 80, probably some of your applications or firewall is blocking the host which is CDPR server. Check on that.
I tried turning off my firewall altogether, didn't help.
don't worry i get connection error now too. probably the server load is too high.
Well, is there anyone that can access the online content from the launcher?
Not to sound too cranky about this (I was going to wait for 1.1 anyway), but I thought the point of no DRM was to remove all these kinds of problems...

No. The point of not having DRM is to essentially make the game yours. DRM'ed software equates to you just being allowed to use the publisher's software, and nothing beyond.
There upgrading their servers and getting ready to release the patch.
