So I was watching a playthrough and noticed the person was able to choose abilities without meditating. Why can't I do this?! I have to meditate every time I level up to choose abilities.

You can simply press 'c' at any time and allocate your unspent points.

Yaya, I was watching the angry dude's video and saw him applying talents without meditating. To further prove the point, a bit later on he was complaining about not knowing how to meditate (because he wanted to drink a potion).

But I always needed to meditate to apply the unused talents.

the wonderful tutorial either skipped that or it went by too fast to notice. I love this game, but the tutorial is one of the worst I have seen in a long time.

On Hard and Impossible modes, you need to meditate to allocate points.

My first playthrough I did not know I could do that either. Then I watched the video and was like "WTF you could do that?"

I am on my 4th playthrough and I just found out LOl Like I said the tutorial in this game needs major work.
