Is it possible to raise FOV in the game, even slightly? Feels like about 65 right now - somewhat disorienting and exacerbates eyestrain. I don't usually encounter difficulties with low FOVs, but TW2 is pretty borderline for me. I'd be quite happy with 75-80.

How do you measure that? I know for sure that the FOV in TW2 is noticeably narrower than in the first game. I stopped playing TW2 after 15h, because i couldn't see the world around me properly (this was no problem in TW1). Now i'm waiting for a fix.

So, me too: is it possible to change the FOV in this game, to make it wider?

I'd like to be able to change it, too, if only to get some more panoramic screenshots :)

Take a look in the user.ini and rendering.ini ... there are no options for changing the fov.

So we have to wait for a mod/workaround or a official fix - which I really don't expect.

I think you need to look up what field of vision means. ;)

It would be nice with abit more FOV... is this something that we might se implemented?

When you know where you are going its not something that is noticeable, but when you are like.. exploring or just looking around it really feels narrow.

The short FoV is just one of a felt-thousands of small annoyances in Witcher 2. Would like to see an increased FoV too.

I was having an idea yesterday about a nice compromise.

If one were to alter the FoV for out-of-combat, but keep the rest intact. (so that when you entered combat or any other "focus enviroment" it would zoom in as it is now)

This would give developers the freedom in restricting gameplay in those areas they felt nessesary for artistic purpouses, while allowing players to have a wider view when running around :)
