Firstly, I must say that I'm not very computer-savvy, so I'm in no way trying to "show-off" the size of my processor or RAM or otherwise. I'm genuinely curious about how my PC will stack up against the Witcher 2's seemingly large requirements.

My current specs are:

-Windows 7 64-Bit
-AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Processor
-16GB RAM
-Nvidia Geforce 8800 Ultra

I have a feeling my gfx card might be letting me down...
most likely low maybe medium
windows 7 64 bit
quad core, 2.33 GHZ
6GB of RAM
ATI HD4670

It`ll suck for you if TW2, just like TW1 does not support dual GPU`s :D

@ TS
8800 Ultra is getting more obsolete for every new release now... GTX 560 will rock this game at an affordable price.

The most recent Nvidia drivers already have SLI profile for The Witcher 2 ^^

So I'm good. 4 GPUs will be running smoothly on launch day :)

You're fine. The 8800 Ultra beats the "minimum" 8800 GT 512 by a wide margin. Just don't expect the Ultra-level eye candy, and you may have to compromise on frame rate to get High.

Those old nVidia G80 and G92 cards are still very powerful, especially in texture-heavy games. Put up against lesser, newer cards, they will still kick ass and take names.

The 4670 is below "minimum"; you may have to turn settings far down to get satisfactory playability.

It should be noted that TW2's stated minimum requirements are known to be a level at which the game will play fluently. They are very different from the usual overly optimistic minimum requirements at which the game won't quite play at all.

which minimum requirements are you reffering to ? according to this website:
http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=860&game=The%20Witcher%20II

the minimum requirement graphics card is a ATI Radeon HD3850, while a ATI Radeon HD4850 meets the "recommended" requirements.

tho i wonder what screen resolution and fps rate theese relate to.

I know the minimum requirements, and that's why I said his card was below minimum.

The 4670 is not the equal of the 3850. It's a fourth-generation entry-level card; the 3850 is a third-generation high-level card.

You look fine for high settings. Possibly Ultra; I don't know whether any dual-core, even a fast one with a big cache like the E8400 is capable of handling the load at Ultra.
I also wish to know:
Windows 7 64bit
i7 920
8gb DDR3
ATI 5970

I mean i wish to know if i can run the game with max settings o.O

And how would it run on my setup? I hope to be able to play it on medium at least with a stable framerate. Thanks in advance!

E6500 2.93GHz
3GB DDR2 RAM
Windows 7 Home Premuim 32-bit
GTS 450 1GB

I'm a wonderin myself

I have in basic terms:

Intel Quad Core at 2.4Ghz
4GB of DDR 2 800Gz Ram
ATI 5770 1GB GDDR5
4TB of disk space
Hi there .. I'm torn .
I'm extremely hyped about this game, but my GPU is very weak.
should I even bother pre-ordering or wait until I get a new PC in a few moths?
I would be fine with 720p@low or something like that

Intel C2D T9400 2.53 Ghz
FireGL V5700 512M (~3650M with extra VRAM)
8GB DDR3 1066
Win7 x64

other specs here (W500):
