I was wondering what the best armor,swords,boots etc are
i mean i got roche armor/Blue stripes armor, kayran armor which i made and Seltkirk's armor
Btw doing a sword build
My patch is 1.2

Don't know about *best*, but regarding silver swords, a Robust Blue Meteorite Ore sword can be crafted fairly early (if you accumulated most of the materials from Chapter 1; I had to buy a bit of silver ore). Stick a fire rune on it, make sure you've got the Pyromaniac ability for extra incineration, and it'll stand you very well against the numerous wraiths you'll be facing.

For steel, the Sword of the Dun Banner is mighty fine, too. Again, fire rune + pyromaniac is nice. ;)

Spend a LOT of time being incinerated. :D

The simplest way is to walk into campfires, back out and burn for five seconds or so, heal up, and repeat. It adds something like +20% to Incineration chances, at least when your weapon has an incineration bonus as well.

looks like i know what i will be doing, as for my swords i got the dun banner sword and Negotiator hows that so fire rune in both of them any other runes?
Also for armor i am using Zireael's armor, though i have blue stripes and kayran armor aswell
and Seltkirk's armor
usings Mage's trousers,Kaedweni jackboots,Herbalist's gloves.

on iorveth path, obtainable early on, there are;
dragon scale (sold by the elven vendor near mahakam gate)
thyssen's (succubus quest reward)

towards the end of chapter; there are;
draug (craftable after lifting the curse)
loc muinne (looted from nilfgaardian camp)

From the armors i already have which is Zireael's armor,blue stripes, kayran armor

Also thanks for the advice i will be going to get ban ards armor on my 2nd playthrough
