Doesn't work yet for some I guess as I beat him also but didn't get anything, just told me to check extras which also show me nothing...

But at least dr. zli showed what it's supposed to give :P
everytime I beat the monk, take his gold, he still tells me I am unlucky afterwards ><
The french monk has apprently been a bit crippled by CDP RED; we will try to get him back on his metaphorical feet, but in the mean time if you pretend that you found a link to www.goodoldmonk.com in your extras section of the game when you beat the monk with enough luck to receive the "I shall now give this relic to you" message, you can see what was *supposed* to happen.

Huh I did wonder what that was about given 'Extras' didn't have anything (and loved the nod to the apology to that which shall not be named)....

And dammit TheEnigmaticT you already got my TW1 and TW2 money this month... how am I meant to justify purchasing those too to my wife?!

P.S. is there any time restriction on those monk offers? That could influence things.... especially since I *am* after a few of those titles...

We should probably indicate that somewhere. My bad.

You have until the 18th of August to redeem those. But since it's a "hidden" promo, you won't get any kind of reminders from us about it before it ends. So don't forget! :P

<sarcasm> 18th August?! But what about people who buy TW2 from GoG after that! That's like some sort of DRM! </sarcasm>

Thanks for the info (and yeah naughty web team forgetting that!). It's nice to know there is plenty of time to buy stuff from the 'hidden' offer page... it'll be marked on my calendar as a warning fro when to buy certain things by and means I can wait a few payslips to do so ;)
The only title I'm instrested in is Alone in the Dark 4...and I already beat it on the PSX. Well, at least I got a few Orens out of the monk XD

@TheEnigmaticT:

You know what you guys should do? To prevent the monk's purpose from becoming obsolete in future, you should work with CDProjekt and include updates to the monk in future patches that gives a new GOG.com deal every now and then.. Who knows, it might maintain continual sales! xD Hahaha~ Wishful thinking I know...

GOG already does regular deals, I'm talking about exclusive ones (yeah I know how goodoldmonk.com turned out to be accessible to the masses though) for game owners~ Of course I'm saying that because I happen to be one =P
I just beat the Monk and he said something about going to the Extras (message, like so many were not shown long enough!) But I have no Extras option in my launcher! I have the UK retail edition by the way.

Read above, John.
