Hey guys i just got it working today. And as i can see, the game runs smooth for me. I know that my rig is not perfect at all but it runs fine for me.

Here go my settings and PC specs.

CPU - AMD Phenom II x4 955BE oc.@3.6Ghz
GPU - ATI/AMD Shapire HD5750 1GB (Driver 11.4)
RAM - 6GB DDR2@800Mhz
Display - 23' 1920x1080

I hope this settings can help someone with equivalent rig.
Didn't try the 11.5 Driver yet, but i gonna give more feedback asap.

The game is GPU monster :o, high end CPU's have no impact at all.

I think the advice for ATI users was to run in windowed mode, should get more FPS. The game was technically developed officially on Nvidia card sets.

Though I am sure with patches parity will be restored.

11.5 gives massive performance boosts, at least for 6xxx series. Could help 5xxx series as well. Also includes auto updater.

I'd hate to disable SSAO. Makes the game feel much more atmospheric.

6970 here on latest catalyst not a single hiccup. everything maxed and enabled except ubersampling FPS around 50. if uber was on i would get around 20-30 FPS.

Totally disappointed with this release. The game is sluggish, out of control, and not controllable. Someone should have said there would be no mouse control of Geralt, and that would have ended the anticipation of the release for me. Yeah, I do agree it is a beautiful game, aside from the fact that the cool looking Geralt in the first release was a force to be reckoned with because you had razor sharp control, whereas now you stumble into battle looking for the right key to press. But at least the game looks good, even so a lot of us will not be able to play it. Maybe if I can figure out how I get my free game, at least I won't feel totally gypped on this one. Or maybe a gamepad? Never had much luck with those though.

I honestly hated the first witcher fighting system it was boring. This one is much more immersive and challenging, but am using an xbox 360 controller.

I never was good with WASD, so I went out and got me an Xbox game pad controller for Windows, and waht a difference that was. But the only bad thing about it - there is no setup for it, and no print sheet for it, so it is a guessing game so far, but it sure helps with navigation. Wonder if anyone is using this and could give me a configuration sheet to print out?

In the game launcher Open video/language, input settings, gamepad, then print screen
