And let's do the quick math for eastern Europe , 10 AM. How odd that Polish company would do such a thing for it's neighbors.

Laterali: That doesn't really jive. I mean, if I had my way, it would be released at midnight GMT, cause then I would get it at 6 pm on the 16th. I'm assuming more that it's that the publisher didn't want The U.S. getting it before the release date.
It should be midnight for EVERYONE,especially for the GOG customers we have tried to show loyalty by buying it straight them instead of some greedy publisher and as its turned out apart from DRM free i see no benefit for doing so,yeh i can wait i just dont see why on there own wesite they couldnt of made europe a 12 midnight release.

The game should be released at midnight according to each time zone. That is the most fair way. It is ridiculous to make people wait even longer because some of the other time-zones need to catch up.

And like MADPADDY says, we have shown support to GOG and they make us wait longer.

Direct2drive is based in California (Pacific coast), and they are releasing the game at 12:01am PST, but Valve is waiting till 11:00 AM PST on the 17th, 11 hours past the World Wide launch time. Valve being on the pacific coast has nothing to do with why they are releasing the game 11 hours past everyone else.
I beleive we can apply "Valve time" here, even if this game is not developed by that company

Restart your downloader - goto your notifications tray at the bottom right, right click GOG downloader and select QUIT - then relaunch it.
