Is there a way getting troll skin crafting component , without killing the troll under the bridge.

I know there is trolls head in one of the houses in the village. But i think its bugged.
Guy offers to sell it to you if you beat him at dice. But even if you beat him , he is not selling it to you.

Help. I want that armor. But i dont want to kill the troll

No the guy offers the head as one of the rewards if I beat him at dice poker (I beat the other dice players beforehand and had the troll quest active prior to beating him). But if I recall it correctly you get a stuffed troll head and a troll tongue (no troll skin).

In Act 2, there are 2 trolls.

But in any case I think you would need to kill trolls to get troll skin.

I think it's 3, and one of them is definitely hostile, so Lobotomist can whack that one without feeling remorses ;)

There are actually 3 trolls in chapter 2, one that attacks you on sight. It is in a small passage SE of the brothel.

Aye, there's a 3rd troll in a ravine, on Roche's side, that is hostile from the outset, and doesn't count towards the troll achievements (if you have the Steam version).

Is he at any obscure position or is he on your way to some quests? I remember the couple but not the hostile one...

When going ot save triss, from where you find the statuette, go to the far left into the ravines. He's somewhere around there.

Actually it does. I killed the hostile troll but didn't harm the husband/wife troll or the bridge troll and didn't get the achievement.

If you played on Roche's side, both troll achievements are bugged.

If you played on Iorveth's side, it's impossible to get to the hostile troll before getting the desired achievement.
