A lot of this is ridiculous Master Race bickering. Take an actual console port, Assassin's Creed 2. Not only is that a fantastic game in all regards, the PC port allows you to change controls in-game and change graphical settings in-game. By the logic of the children in this thread, that means it was never on console because if it was designed with consoles in mind, it wouldn't have those options.
Many action games, even adventure games where you spend a lot of time walking around, are more pleasant to use a control pad with. Control pads are designed 100% to play games on, the mouse and keyboard is a compromise. They're designed for office applications as that was the original purpose of PCs. Games use them simply because that's what came with them. Yes, it just so happens that RTS and FPS are far easier to control with a mouse, but all other genres are either equal or better with a control pad.
There's nothing hardcore and mature about a game using a mouse and keyboard, which seems to be the bizarre delusion the Master Race are operating under in this thread. All those shitty flash games and Facebook games use a mouse and keyboard - go and play those if you want a "true PC exclusive experience" that uses a good old hardcore PC setup.
