More I read, more I am being encourage to suggest my friends I know to play pirated copy before they buy the game! (or me to LEND my GOG copy_so far haven't done but since its been put in a way that it will do GREATER good to the game.....I am heavily persuaded to do it).

May be I don't even need to buy Witcher 3, since Witcher 2 controls suck!..ending sucks!..yeah..downright honest.

Points.
1. Play Pirated copy/copied version of Witcher 2.
2. Since there is no Proper keyboard/mouse _ lag controls they will obviously not be interested to buying a laggy game(I know them personally, I am sure of it) or will just not buy them at all (since its free, not their headache to know where it came from).**
3. If they find issues, they will ping me (no one will know it) |KEWL|
4. If I get irritated for too long, yeah..they might start pestering on CDPR forums.

My Mandatory requirements for Witcher 3 (again), else won't be buying it
1. Eyefinity (when I get them 1 year from now)
2. AMD 3D
3. good controls + Hardware mouse
4. Good AA support
5. Good performance
6. DX11 mandatory (There should be tessellation used everywhere)
7. Good UI
8. NO console port
9. No DRM
10. Proper shadows, don't want the game too look all dotted up in dark areas.
11. Proper QTE's, which makes sense

Mentioning it, because else I won't be getting it..personal preference. (gonna check it up with torrent copy first and finish the game..if I am unsatisfied..I won't BUY IT)

I am currently in the processing of understanding what few of the members here have expressed points regarding this. To which I am coming to agree, it greatly helps.

What if the game is good in the initial stages (what % of the demos showcase, with intent) and the progression from the mid-game till the end the game is actually bad...or sucks..or with bugs..or bars from completing the game!*.

It happened with Dragon Age 2, demo had dark spawns and Flemeth; the two elements which I liked in Dragon Age Origins. But in the full game neither was in any*** details, Flemeth appears only once and poof..Dark spawn is not even in 95% of the reminder of the game or part of the plot line. The developer showed what Dragon Age Origins base expected, and full game alienated everything. (there is a box copy of Dragon Age Origins in the other room, in the cupboard)

DVD, full game SUCKED so hard..it is the worst thing one can buy...EVER.

Yes, I repeat again...judging by what people mentioned here in this long discussion going back and forth (I turned to the darker side, Play..first and pay later if one is satisfied).

Dragon Age 2 is an interesting example. I felt it was one of the few games I bought that was actually a waste of money. But I bought it without a second thought because it was BioWare and it was a Dragon Age game. So I got burned on that one. Does that justify turning to piracy? No.

Let's assume you didn't buy DA2 and you pirated it instead. If you played even a couple more hours pat the intro, you'd have realized that it wasn't the game you thought it was going to be. So if you decided to delete it then, no harm done? Perhaps. But what if you played through the whole thing? What then? At that point you've used the entirety of the game that's offered at retail price. Whether you enjoyed it or not is immaterial. The fact is you got the benefit of the entirety of the software just like a paying customer without compensating the devs for the privilege of doing so. And as I noted before, it's way too easy to get to then end of the game and then find a bunch of 'flaws' to justify not paying for it. It's rationalization and justification at its worst.

This is what's fundamentally wrong with pirating. You get the benefit of the work of others without paying them for the right to that benefit. Whether you like the game or not, or whether you feel the game is worth the money or not, is immaterial. In the end you've experienced the fruits of someone else's labor and not compensated them for the privilege.

You have many other options available to figure out if this would be a purchase worth the price being asked. This excuse of "Well maybe it will turn bad later on" is weak beyond belief. Try a demo, wait for reviews, wait for articles, wait for player reviews, ask friends, watch some 'let's play' videos, watch gameplay footage, rent the console version (if there is one) or borrow it from a friend, try the game at a friend's house. Piracy is not justified.

Incase of Dragon Age 2, even if one pirated it and finished it..he will be filled with regret and disdain. You know the feeling...thats why I picked up this specific example.

Your point here is what? You've taken one out of a long list of things to check out to see if a game is something you may enjoy. That long list is what I did for pretty much any game purchase except BioWare's, and it's served me very well. And now, after getting burned by DA2, I'll also be doing that with BioWare games. Piracy? It's neither necessary nor justified.

I come to think of it now, as its a culture*. Publishers keep rolling out bad stuff, the culture spreads. Because no matter what the users say, most of the publishers (and some game developers) will NEVER do anything a user likes (they have the law/legality behind their back). This is the driving force being this....then there is also the cascading effect, blames, DRMs and the cycle just moves on.

On the other forums, I liked Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 (with all the expansions)..Diablo 3..I am shocked.

Point 1:
I am from a region, where internet bandwidth is relatively expensive as against EU or US or Philippines or China or Korea or Japan. The government has restriction to protect internet (valuable commodity) with regulations..as its expensive and IP providers enforce this.

So Mandatory Internet connection to play Diablo 3 single player game, nope..hard for me.

Point 2:
Auction House, Blizzard has mentioned in its WOW terms & Conditions that trading virtual items from World Of Warcraft MMO is prohibited for barter with real money...known users will be banned or penalized.

Item transfers via Auction houses is taxed, indirectly by Blizzard by a holding company. With this, the diablo 3 players community will indeed loose money overall has a whole to TAX by blizzard..who does it benefit; is this a game or something else.

Ok, avoid the above 2 points. Now developers of Diablo 3 have officially denied majority of fans request to change the color palette in the game to darker shades to enhance the ambiance of the game's theme and further mentioned that there will be no MOD support for the game. Which I am sure will be mentioned in paragraph in some point with legal technical terms only, in a 46 page terms & conditions...result will be penalization for the players in any attempt to mod the game and mostly a permanent BAN.

Now, with the above....someone will make a crack, to emulate online dependency of the game and be part of the actually piracy process. disgruntled core diablo players, will play this game than play Blizzard legal copy. Culture spreads..

Now if that player enjoys the game and terms it valid,he will buy it..Else the user will tag the game as not worth and regret playing it (waste of the users time, its self-acknowledgement).

But people who play pirated copies are pervy, they don't know to keep quite or how to restrict themselves from harming the game or developers or publishers. They yap a lot..atleast majority of the noobs who don't know how to play pirated games mostly...harming the developers in many ways. <- these guys are the bad sheep in the Piracy "Culture", because they have no information how to play pirated games with leniency. (upto my understanding)

Again, you miss the point. The pirate has not paid for the game. Whether he likes it or not doesn't matter. What does matter is he's used the software in its entirety without paying for the privilege of doing so. If he decides the software isn't to his liking, he still has not paid for that privilege.

On a side note, I have no doubt that some would buy it if they like it. I also have no doubt that the percentage that will actually do that is miniscule. The 'noble pirate' image as a paradigm of piracy is laughable.

if you dislike DA2 so much where you couldn't even finish the game at least once. imo, you are justify in pirating one of their games. if you like it enough to finish it once, it should still be considered money well spent. since that is at least 30+ hours of gaming time.

Just because something is flawed it does not make it unusable, nor does it diminishes people by operating within said flawed constructs. An enlighten person (which you seem to proclaim to be) can see the need for some of those constructs and actually note that while flawed from truly universal point of view (which neither of us are actually able to claim as their own) they can be beneficial to the society trying to grasp and deal with particularly difficult concepts for the better of us all...

I go to university. I attended a few courses. Oh yeah, I didn't like the lectures. I feel the professors could have emphasized more on this topic and spend less time in trivial subjects. I'm unsatisfied. I'm not paying the tuition.
