I have the same problem...I have been trying over and over, and no success...Can anyone please kill kayran for me....Here's the save.......

The size of your save tells me that you're not using 1.2. You'll have to patch to 1.2 for that save to work.

And don't forget to loot the Kayran :)

I can't see the save...I am patched to 1.2, but when i select loadgame it's not there...Do you know why is that??

Are you absolutely sure you're patched to 1.2? As in, you installed the manual 1.1 patch, then the 1.2 patch?

Uh Oh, Two loot points ?!?!?! I'm on my third playthrough and I have missed that. I have only looted at one point. Geez. Oh well, I haven't left Flotsam as yet, so guess I'll take a walk back there and see what I may have missed.

Yep! They're both near each other... one is kind of in the middle of two tentacles, and the other is a bit down the left tentacle (from the point of view you'd have facing the kayran).

Normally I'd assume you're putting the save in the wrong folder or something, but you're the second person in a row to tell me that the save I sent hasn't shown up. It's strange, because I even downloaded and tested it. Showed up and loaded just fine for me.

Can someone else test that save I tried to send MrWESS? I really want to know if there's some kind of incompatibility that just popped up.

I just tested it, it shows up and loads just fine.

I don't know what is going on. I downloaded save that someone else posted (aparently not patched to 1.2) and i see it....But why don't i see that one if i am patched to 1.2....

You're probably not patched to 1.2, then. You can check your version number by going to the executable in Program Files. Pretty sure it's in the "bin" folder of the Witcher 2 folder, but I turned my computer off so I can't check. If you hover over the game icon in that folder, you should see the version number.

I am patched. This is version 1.2.6276.44681 of exe file.....

Is it possible that it's on a different time so that the save doesn't actually show up on top?
