I've got the same problem and i've tried everything. I uploaded the autosave just before the battle. If someone is kind enough to pass this phase for me, i'll be grateful.

Killed and looted.

Are you patched to 1.2? They started compressing saves in 1.2, so it's possible that the save I uploaded only works with versions of the game patched to 1.2.

EDIT: I'll write this next part in caps so that it sticks out. IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE WITH THE QTEs, TRY LOWERING YOUR GAME RESOLUTION. Oftentimes it's your computer struggling to keep up and failing to count all of your clicks as a result of that.

Thanks mate! Lowering my game res worked at the ballista aiming but here didn't work. You were also right about the 1.2 patch, needed for the file to work. Anyway thank you very much again.

Hello I have been stuck on the QTE with the same problem as other people have reported and everything I have done to try and fix it has failed (lowering difficulty, resolution, no difficult QTEs, upping mouse sensitiviy, and remapping keyboard to opptimize button pressing). So since people have been nice enough to help others by finishing their save games I was hoping someone would be kind enough to do the same for me.

nice to see ppl helping each other out
i tried everything from lowering game res, reducing qte difficulty, changing key bidding etc.
i even manage to fill the yellow bar still nothing happens! tried this numerous times! even resorted to using trainer but all in vain filling the meter full beyond that nothing happens

here is my saved file can you please help me out too by completing it? just want to kill that ugly creature

D'oh!

It does?

Edit: no, it doesn't! Phew!
Checked now, reloaded the save I uploaded and the kayran bits were still there.

Hello, i am also having problems in the Kayran battle. Nothing i do seems to work to get me past the tentacle grabing part. Can someone help me out with this? Thanks
