I am running the steam version

The game is running on ultra settings with uber on and AA with V sync off. I keep getting random crashes during cut scenes and sometimes after them.

I read the problem is that i am running 32 bit and have 4 gb and game cant handle that. So i reduced my Textures from Large to high and it still continues. I also read that its that there are too many save games in the folder, so I cleared some and the problem still continues. This game is really unstable right now and im only in chapter 1, will this be fixed in the next patch?
And what happens when you turn off uber?
Post your specs, and try verifying the files via Steam.
I played the game with uber off and textures set to medium and still it crashes randomly. This is ridiculous. Is this because of my nvidia 570gtx or the game still being buggy?

I don't know what that would have to do with anything. I'm running a 32-bit OS with 4 gb RAM and get almost no crashing whatsoever.

Are you using 1.1? Any DLC installed? What resolution are you trying to play at?
Again, verify the files via Steam, and if it still crashes, check Event Viewer for the crash log.
You should also update your graphics drivers really.

I must be lucky but i didn´t had one single crash and i finished the game once already :P

With that system you should really go for a 64 bit OS, you have a huge bottleneck for the amount of ram you have, but that shouldn´t be the problem for crashing imho.

Do you have the latest drivers from Nvidia? if not they are a must.
i think the steam files verification has fixed me issue. Well the latest nvidia drivers i have, im waiting for the witcher 2 one thats not beta.
The game still crashes. I got the new nvidia drivers installed. What a mess of a game :(
There's no point posting and complaining when you aren't even willing to help yourself.

You've completely ignored some suggestions, so why bother?
If you mean some suggestions like buying Windows 62 bit then yes. But I tried what everyone said. Idk where you are getting that I'm not trying to help my self. I would get a refund but its steam version.
No, I meant suggestions like check Event Viewer, which you haven't acknowledged, and verifying files with Steam, which had to be suggested twice to get a response.
I verified files and it installed DX run time. I will post the even viewer log ASAP. I just am frustrated with the crashing. I did research and the game has apparent memory optimization issues on 32 bit systems.
