I hadn't played in a few months and now the cursor is gone both at the main menu, and in-game. I did a complete uninstall and downloaded the recent update. Same thing.

Any ideas?

Try holding down SHIFT when you are in the main menu. Let me know if this works.
It's a fairly common bug I believe..

edit: the shift key trick is of no use for me
the bug is surely bugging me a lot :P

Try watching the intro movies, and then also holding shift until you are in game, might work
