I just started on this game, and then it freezes when trying to load Outskirts of Vizima after everyone goes their separate ways and leave Kaer Morhen.

Anyone else faced this problem and know how to fix it?

Do inform me if any further info (like logs etc) are needed.

I think I remember that some players saw this, but if they re-loaded their saved game and tried it again it would work. It's been a while though so I might not be remembering correctly.

EDIT: By which I mean, re-load a save from the end of the prologue, finish the prologue again, and then it will succesfully load Chapter 1 which takes place in the outskirts of Vizima.

Thanks - this fixed it for me too.
hi, ive got the same issue and wondered if u were referring to actual selfmade save games or the auto-saves, coz in case of the auto-save it gets still stuck on me

Hello, I had the seme issue.
In my case, the game is running on a laptop with Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, Windows 7 (32 bit)and 4 GB of RAM.
I solved this simply setting all graphics options to the lowest values in the game menu and THEN loading the auto-save the game make just before Leo's funeral.
Hope this help :)
