I did a Google search regarding this problem and it appeared to be resolved, but I just got it while attempting to download the game yesterday. Download stops and says "checksum error on chunk 47, please contact support."

It's a download problem. You get checksum errors, when the downloaded data is corrupt. The files are rather big to download, so there's always a good chance for a little glitch to happen. :-|

The only thing you can do is re-downloading it. You can try both, the GOG.com Downloader application or the direct links on the game-card in your collection.

Maybe your Internet connection is unstable. Try to stabilize/unburden it, e.g. by using a wired LAN instead of wireless LAN and stop all other online activities (like chats, web browsing etc.).

I notice I get this sometimes because my internet connection has a habit of screwing up in the middle of downloads sometimes.

My question was, will I get this error only on installers or on things like bonus stuff too? I want to make sure stuff like the bonus content is downloading properly despite my poor internet connection.
