Whenever launch the game, a weird screeching sound starts coming from my computer, sound that disapears if i alt-tab.
I searched on the internet that it can be fixed by locking the maximum fps but the game doesn't have an option to do that.

If you have a Nvidia graphics card, you can enable v_sync for the witcher in the Nvidia Control Panel.

Manage 3D settings >Program Settings> select The Witcher > Vertical Sync On (see pic)
