Like I said, it didn't tick from 2 days to, tomorrow until about 12am CDT. So I'm thinking maybe it's localized to your time zone? I could be wrong of course because people 3hrs ahead of CDT would already have access.

It's out now in the US at least. I just bought it.

It seems it doesn't download though. GOG Downloader says "Cannot fetch game details" and the browser download gives a "403 - Forbidden" page.

Just bought it as well. DLing through the browser gives a 404 error. I imagine they'll get this sorted soon enough, but they really should have made sure the game's available before putting the link live for purchase.

Lucky you :/

For some reason I can't even get it paid for, which is odd as I used this same card and bank to buy Serious sam in January, and now it's complaining and not letting me buy Witcher.

So i'm sol until the bank opens in the morning to scream at them for 45mins.

Ha! Me too! Looks like the servers barfed.

No doubt it will be fixed soon. The main page still lists the game as coming tomorrow.

Don't keep trying to buy it. I tried that once with the Gabriel Knight Bundle since it said my credit card didn't go thru the first 2 times and my credit card company froze my card. Trying to get them to unfreeze it is annoying sometimes because they ask the most crazy questions to verify your identity.

I think I tried twice? Maybe 3 times, but anyway, my steam purchase just went through for another game, but I'll check in the morning to make sure they didn't do anything to it.

Seems though I may not be able to get witcher unless I open a stupid paypal account, as either Gog changed something, or my bank did.

I paid through PayPal and was able to download the extras but the download link for the game isn't working (error 404).

Don't worry, they'll fix it. It's not supposed to be up until tomorrow anyway.

Note also that gog is literally charging 1/4 of the price that Steam is charging.

Contempt: I'm not going to lie, my first experience with GOG has not been very pleasant.
Don't let this spoil GoG for you. I've been using the site for over a year and have nearly 40 games from them. The low prices combined with amazing deals well beat out any slightly delayed release. And let's be honest, even a couple of hours late is still on-time for this industry. $5 and slightly late from GoG still beats $20 right now on Steam.

Status update: Nothing yet. Downloader and browser download are still giving errors.

The 403: Forbidden error leads me to believe that the site/download is working. They just don't want us to download it yet.
